Position Overview:
As a Team Leader at JD Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service from the team. You will help drive store profitability by surpassing sales targets and utilizing in-store technology, while fostering a successful team atmosphere. You will support Senior Management in maintaining store standards, training new staff, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Customer Engagement

Lead by example, always prioritizing customer satisfaction. Strive to enhance the level of customer service. Recognize customer needs and provide attentive service. Guide customers in selecting appropriate stock and offer alternatives when necessary. Inform customers about new arrivals and potential future needs. Ensure service quality encourages repeat visits. Deliver courteous and responsible service to all customers.

Sales Performance

Engage with and sell to as many customers as possible. Manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously as needed, supporting the team to ensure all customers are attended to. Familiarize yourself with the layout of all stock to maximize sales opportunities. Implement current promotions and maintain stock presentation as directed. Collaborate with team members, emphasizing teamwork. Utilize effective selling techniques, including promoting accessories.

Visual Presentation

Assist in upholding standards on the sales floor. Keep stock organized and visually appealing at all times. Replenish stock levels as necessary, ensuring a full size range is available. Verify that products are accurately priced. Maintain up-to-date displays.

General Responsibilities

Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards. Help keep stock areas and staff facilities clean and organized. Assist with the receipt and organization of deliveries. Step in for other staff as needed and perform various duties as required.

Additional Responsibilities

Support the onboarding of new sales staff. Assist in supervising junior staff members. Contribute to the training and development of junior team members. Fulfill keyholder responsibilities. Handle administrative tasks as needed. Aid in the implementation of security protocols.
