Position Overview:
As a Team Leader at JD Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service from our team. You will help drive store profitability by surpassing sales goals and utilizing in-store tools, while fostering a successful team atmosphere. You will support Senior Management in maintaining store standards, training new staff, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Customer Engagement

Lead by example and prioritize customer satisfaction. Enhance and sustain high levels of customer service. Recognize customer needs and provide timely assistance. Recommend suitable products and alternatives as needed. Inform customers about new arrivals and future stock. Ensure a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. Deliver courteous and responsible service to all customers.

Sales Performance

Engage with and sell to as many customers as possible. Manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously as required, supporting the team to ensure all customers are attended to. Familiarize yourself with the layout of all available stock to maximize sales opportunities. Implement current promotions and maintain stock presentation as directed. Collaborate with team members to enhance sales efforts. Utilize effective selling techniques, including promoting accessories.

Visual Presentation

Assist in upholding visual standards on the sales floor. Ensure stock is clean and well-presented at all times. Replenish stock levels as necessary, ensuring a full size range is available. Verify that all products are accurately priced. Keep displays current and appealing.

General Responsibilities

Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Maintain a professional appearance in line with company standards. Help keep stock areas and staff facilities organized and tidy. Assist with the reception and organization of deliveries. Step in for colleagues as needed and perform various duties as required.

Additional Responsibilities

Support the onboarding of new sales staff. Aid in supervising junior team members. Contribute to the training and development of less experienced staff. Fulfill keyholder duties. Manage administrative tasks as assigned. Assist in implementing security protocols.
