About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and driven VP of Business Development to spearhead our commercial expansion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a robust go-to-market strategy targeting key segments within the biomanufacturing industry.
- Develop strategic partnerships with industry leaders, biomanufacturers, and research institutions.
- Negotiate and draft partnership agreements to align with strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and technical teams to ensure technological capabilities meet customer requirements.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory environments to refine business development strategies.
- Represent the company at relevant conferences, industry events, and trade shows, positioning us as a thought leader in the field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields.
- Proven success in business development, sales, or strategic commercial roles within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or industrial biomanufacturing sectors.
- In-depth understanding of microbial fermentation, bioengineering processes, and biomanufacturing technologies.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate complex scientific concepts effectively.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills beneficial.
