We are seeking a highly skilled Statistician Professor to join our team at the Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to cutting-edge research in advanced biomedical research.

Job Description:

This position involves conducting statistical research at an international level, teaching and supervising students, as well as collaborating with colleagues on various projects. The successful candidate will be expected to attract funding for their research and engage in interdisciplinary collaborations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Developing and implementing statistical methods for analyzing complex biomedical data
  2. Collaborating with researchers from various disciplines to design and implement studies
  3. Teaching statistical courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  4. Supervising students and research assistants

As a Statistician Professor, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from basic science to translational research, and collaborate with top researchers in the field.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, you must have a PhD in Statistics or a related field and a strong background in statistical theory and practice. You should also have experience in teaching and supervision, as well as a track record of publishing high-quality research papers.

Salary:

The salary for this position is approximately €5,445.70 per month, plus benefits and pension contributions.
