About the Role

Driving business growth through effective shopper marketing is crucial for Diageo's success. As a Shopper Marketing Manager, you will lead the creative development of integrated shopper marketing programs to drive sales and conversion at the point of purchase.

The role focuses on driving recruitment and/or premiumisation across various shopper missions and sub-channels. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in the deployment of key brand assets and develop a comprehensive understanding of behaviour change and corresponding drivers of financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement shopper marketing strategies to drive effective and efficient shopper conversion.
  • Lead the briefing and management of agencies to ensure timely delivery of tools and assets.
  • Collaborate with Customer Activation teams to ensure customer needs are met and programs can be tailored to specific customer requirements.
  • Ensure robust measurement and evaluation to understand the impact of shopper marketing programs on business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive business growth.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to ensure creative asset development requirements are met and work is developed in line with brand strategy and creative guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing or commercial experience.
  • Strong commercial and numerical acumen with attention to detail.
  • Existing ability to build relationships and partnerships with internal and external partners.
  • Successful management of senior partners with strong and positive outcomes.
  • Holistic understanding of marketing growth drivers and a track record of delivering transformational business results.
