About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Configurator Product Modelling Engineer to join our Global Process Automation Sales team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the digital transformation of our sales process, leveraging your expertise in product modelling and configuration to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot product models for our PCP product portfolio, ensuring seamless integration with our global sales configurator.
  • Collaborate closely with our PA Sales team to deliver a user-friendly and efficient sales configurator solution, meeting the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Work closely with our supplier to ensure the integrity of our product model is maintained as our SaaS platform evolves.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for users, ensuring our product models align with the overall automation system models.
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge of the PA PCP product portfolio and its configuration rules, including 800xA, Symphony Plus, Freelance, and Compact.
  • Experience in bid and proposal using configure, price, and quote (CPQ) tools, such as our existing ABB Automation Wizard.
  • Strong software development skills, with experience in Java or similar programming languages.
  • Excellent team player with an independent and solution-oriented working style, able to thrive in an agile and changing environment.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
