Job Description

Location: Billund or Copenhagen, Denmark

The Executive Recruitment team at The LEGO Group is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Recruitment Manager to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing top talent for senior leadership positions across the company's value chain.

We are looking for a passionate professional who is eager to experiment with innovative sourcing strategies, map top executive talents across the globe, share knowledge and best practices with the broader talent acquisition community, leverage external market and talent insights to shape broader talent decisions, and manage end-to-end recruitment processes.

The Executive Recruitment function was formally established at the end of 2019, and our mission is to build an in-house function that brings a strategic mindset, external talent market expertise, and cutting-edge approaches to the table to create a unique recruitment and onboarding experience for senior-level (VP+) talents across the globe.

You will be a member of the Global Executive Recruitment & Sourcing team, currently 10 members strong, strategically positioned around the globe. Each member plays a key role in elevating our efforts to reach top passive talents, deliver exceptional recruitment experiences, innovate our future recruitment practices, and ensure that every new joiner receives a personalized and professionalized onboarding experience.

In this particular role on our team, you will lead the executive recruitment efforts for our Operations, CFO, LEGO Education, and Sustainability organizations. This role will lead searches around the globe, partner with a broad range of stakeholders, and play a key role in energizing amazing talents to join our organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Position The LEGO Group to be an employer of choice where senior-level talent can live their purpose and create meaningful impact.
  • Bring your bold, creative, and strong recruitment perspectives to our senior hiring leaders. Help build, transform, and elevate our future thinking on talent. Secure we bring our diversity and inclusion ambitions to life through your executive recruitment efforts.
  • Understand our strategic business priorities and talent requirements, then work to build external market intelligence, create understanding of the talent landscape, and through targeted sourcing efforts identify top passive talent pools.
  • With your knowledge of external talents, industry trends, and pulse on how organizations are transforming to future-proof their business, you will help shape search strategies, advise leaders and our global talent acquisition colleagues on important aspects of the external talent marketplace that will be relevant for how we find top talent in an efficient and focused way.
  • Additionally, you will share these trends and insights with the broader business and human resource community to build knowledge or real-time insights.
  • Spend time engaging and assessing talents in the exploratory phase of the search process to engage and qualify a top-tier pipeline for active or pending searches. Many times, these searches are confidential and require heavy outreach activities.
  • Build positive relationships with hiring leaders and the broader HR community, that continue to solidify the internal team as a credible talent partner to the business.
  • Increase diversity of candidate pools and drive quality through better candidate segmentation and objectivity.
  • Craft executive-level candidate packs, briefs, and overviews for the interview panels that bring to life each candidate in a unique and compelling way.
  • Deliver world-class and personalized experiences for hiring managers and senior talents.

Requirements:

  • Sector experience in one or more areas: Operations, Retail, FMCG, Finance, Strategy, or Education recruitment (with validated experience of navigating a global matrix environment).
  • This role will work on searches across our full value chain, so ability to quickly relate to search requirements and work with agile methodologies is required.
  • Keen eye for talent, passion for championing the brand through a strong recruitment approach, and confidence in skills to deliver amazing experiences and talents across a very broad stakeholder group.
  • International experience with a strong understanding of regional talent acquisition nuances, can work effectively across cultures and time zones.
  • Executive-level communication, coaching, and influencing skills are critical.
  • Must demonstrate ability to create trusting and credible relationships with executive leaders across the globe.
  • Experience working within Workday a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Blended experience of both agency and in-house ideal within a high-performing sourcing/selection/research organization.
  • Must have a strong respect for confidentiality.
  • Outstanding expertise of identifying and using sourcing and brand attraction tools and methodologies combined with best-in-class employer brand experience.
  • Strong behavioral traits around tenacity and focus, compassion and engagement.
  • Ability to effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects, communications, follow-through, and candidate activities.
  • Exercise excellent judgment on critical priorities that considers the needs of our candidates, clients, and the business.
  • Ability at times to work flexible hours to meet candidates' needs across time zones.
  • Proactive, customer-focused, and have strong drive for results.
