The University of Copenhagen is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Biochemist and Educator to join its esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will be an Associate Professor or Assistant Professor in Veterinary Biochemistry, commencing January 1st, 2025.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic scientist with expertise in veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong research background and the ability to contribute to teaching and academic development.

**Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in veterinary biochemistry and related fields
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology
  • Supervise students at various levels (bachelor, master, PhD)
  • Develop and implement research-based teaching methodologies
  • Publish research findings in reputable journals
  • Secure external funding for research projects

**Required Qualifications:**

  • PhD in veterinary biochemistry or a related field
  • Experience in securing external research funding
  • Strong teaching and pedagogical skills
  • Research experience in veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology

**Estimated Salary:** We offer a competitive salary of approximately €85,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
