Job Overview:

As a Membership Lifecycle Strategist, Data Analyst at LEGO Koncernen, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth through data-driven insights and segmentation strategies. This exciting opportunity is part of our newly established Membership & Personalisation team within LEGO Market & Channels Global Marketing.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced data analyst with a strong background in segmentation and analytics to join our team. You will be responsible for creating and optimising membership segmentation models, analysing member behaviour, and delivering actionable recommendations to campaign teams. Your expertise in SQL, Excel, R, and/or Python, Adobe Analytics or similar, Tableau or PowerBI will be essential in driving commercial and strategic value through data-driven insights.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of LEGO Membership segmentation models by analysing 1st party data to identify new segments, member phases, and lifecycles based on observed member behaviour.
  • Contribute to the development of a common membership segmentation approach and framework in close partnership with PMD (Product Marketing Development), LEGO Retail, and Global Insights.
  • Deliver segmentation and lifecycle solutions to campaign teams, providing actionable recommendations that increase the relevancy and commercial impact of campaigns, collaborating with the CRM Proposition team, the CRM Hub, and the Membership Acquisition & Market Activation team.
  • Conduct regular segment and lifecycle movement analyses to uncover new insights on member behaviour and new use case opportunities in close partnership with the CRM Proposition team and CRM Hub.
  • Optimise and refine existing segmentation models, improving methodologies and leveraging new sources of 1st party data.
  • Support the creation of LEGO Member Lifetime Value to inform commercial decisions short and mid-term, ultimately maximising long-term member value, actively encouraging usage across the business, collaborating with Data Science, Global Insights, and PMD.
  • Support the creation of data-driven Member Lifecycle phases to inform acquisition strategies, improve member lifetime value, and reduce churn, collaborating with the CRM Hub, the CRM Proposition team, and Membership Acquisition & Market Activation team.
  • Drive an agile way-of-working model, ensuring quality, flexibility, and speed in tackling business questions.

What You Will Need:

  • 3+ years' experience working in a segmentation and analytics environment with expertise in SQL-based databases, advanced Microsoft Excel, R, and/or Python, Adobe Analytics or similar, Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Experience in SQL and Excel is a must.
  • Strong structured problem-solving and communication capabilities.
  • Experience driving commercial and/or strategic value through segmentation and lifecycle solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey clear, concise, and actionable recommendations based on results.
  • Working knowledge of personalization and loyalty programs.
  • An enthusiastic, positive approach and determination to overcome obstacles, results-oriented with a focus on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Open, collaborative communication style, with experience working across cultures and time zones to build connected, sustainable relationships regardless of organisational structure.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 depending on your experience and qualifications. Please note that this figure is based on industry standards and may vary according to the company's budget and location.
