Vestas Power Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our offshore-focused arm, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and providing expert guidance on SCADA, Cybersecurity, and Communication solutions.
  • Take ownership of technical risk assessment and mitigation, adapting relevant technical annexes and contract schedules to meet project-specific requirements.
  • Participate in technical meetings, presenting SCADA/Cybersecurity/Communication scope and solutions to customers, and ensuring seamless communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and collect relevant market, country, site, and customer-specific requirements.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in an Engineering function (Automation/Control/IT/Electrical/Power Systems Engineering or a related field) with about 5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Deep understanding of industrial control systems, SCADA systems, networks, and communication interfaces.
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity regulations, requirements, and specifications. Knowledge of IEC and NIS directive is ideal.
  • Experience in project or product management from a relevant industry (preferably renewables, offshore wind, energy).

  • Able to prioritize daily work and effectively coordinate projects in a growth environment.
  • Effective time management and organization skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English; additional European or Scandinavian language skills would be beneficial.
  • Accustomed to traveling and comfortable working in a dynamic and highly progressive environment.
  • Creative, detail- and solutions-oriented, and with a high degree of motivation to satisfy customer needs.
  • Highly self-motivated, structured, and service-minded work style, results-oriented, able to work with little supervision and with an international team.
