About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Hansen Toft in Hobro. As a key member of our sales function, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of our business.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is between 120,000-150,000 DKK, depending on experience.

Job Description

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve domestic market share targets within the planned timeframe. Your primary focus will be on analysing, expanding, and executing the commercial roadmap across all selected customer segments, ensuring full CRH compliance.

You will promote the new product to stakeholders in the concrete and building industry, drive product technical development, certification, and stay updated on regulations. Additionally, you will support Marketing and Communication initiatives, monitor market development, and ensure the reporting of sales KPIs to CRH management.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Act in full compliance with business and commercial rules, promoting the professional values of NovaClay/CRH.
  2. In coordination with the Sales Director Denmark/Benelux, define and implement the sales policy in terms of customers segmentation, prospects selection, volumes allocation, and pricing structure setup.
  3. Develop sales through top-level customers' relationships, including frequent contact-points, an active listening approach, and proactive value-added solutions.
  4. Set up a reliable sales forecasting/planning process.
  5. Report Sales KPIs, define improvement initiatives to maximise sales performance, and ensure proper follow-up.
  6. Proactively manage customers' claims through proper interactions with key stakeholders (customers, internal Quality, Production, and Finance departments) to limit financial impact and ensure customers' retention.
  7. Discuss credit limits with Finance department and ensure tracking.
  8. Together with Marketing department, build a Marketing & Communication plan and contribute to its implementation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a proactive and dynamic Technical Salesperson with a strong background in concrete, precast or other similar construction products. You should have a technical education combined with solid sales experience, allowing you to engage in convincing advisory conversations with customers.

Your insight into contractual matters and comfort with negotiations will be essential in this position. As an active listener, you will understand customer needs and possess excellent presentation skills and relationship-building abilities.
