Your Responsibilities as a Sales Consultant:
- Technical consulting: Conduct detailed technical analyses of customer processes and challenges. Develop tailored solutions based on Gemü's comprehensive product portfolio.
- Business development: Expand Gemü's business within the energy and water treatment sectors by identifying and delivering tailored solutions to new and existing customers.
- Customer relationships: Build and nurture long-term customer relationships through regular contact, technical consulting, and follow-up.
- Technical support: Support customers with technical expertise throughout the sales process in close cooperation with the internal technical sales team in Ballerup and colleagues at the German headquarters.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Technical strength: A relevant technical education (e.g., mechanical, chemical, or process engineering or related field) and min. 4 years experience from a similar technical sales role (Pre-sales or Sales Engineer).
- Customer orientation: A passion for helping customers find the best solutions and build trust through your expertise.
- Results-and team orientation: Goal-oriented and have a strong drive to succeed as a team.
- Communication skills: Skilled in both verbal and written communication, and able to present technical topics in an understandable way.
- Independence: Thrive on working independently, but also collaborate well in a team.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
You'll be based in Gemü's modern Ballerup office, collaborating closely with the technical sales team and Sales Manager. If you live in other parts of the country, a home office with regular visits to Ballerup is also an option.
You will refer directly to the Sales Manager for the Danish Market and have plenty of great sparring possibilities. In the Ballerup office, they are a team of approximately 10 colleagues and the work environment is casual and flexible with a strong team spirit.
