Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Commercial Operations to lead our commercial agenda across selected Northern Europe markets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between PepsiCo and Royal Unibrew, a key strategic partner, and driving growth, volume, and market share for all PepsiCo's Beverage trademarks.

Main Duties:

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and align sales strategy with Royal Unibrew, leveraging their expertise in bottling operations across six markets.
  2. Team Management: Manage a team of 2 Commercial Managers, 2 Commercial Activation Managers, and 1 Student Intern, providing guidance and development opportunities to ensure team success.
  3. Bottler Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with Sales and Marketing Directors/VPs at Royal Unibrew, focusing on sales execution and channel expansion.
  4. Commercial Initiatives Implementation: Lead Below The Line initiatives in collaboration with bottlers, concentrating on Sales, Shopper/Trade Marketing, Net Revenue Management, and Field Sales.
  5. Channel Expansion Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to accelerate single-serve product mix growth, enhancing presence in Away From Home channels, Organized Trade, and cold availability in Convenience, Petrol & Gas stations.
  6. Revenue Growth: Drive system margin improvements through continuous Net Revenue Management and optimized product mix management.
  7. Planning and Forecasting: Oversee the Annual Commercial Planning process with bottlers and develop 3-Year Joint Plans to ensure long-term growth.
  8. Global Collaboration: Collaborate with International Beverage and Sector matrix teams to implement channel best practices, representing PepsiCo in Global Sales Forums and leading interactions with Global and European commercial teams.
  9. Key Account Management: Manage key Global Food Service Accounts (Subway, Pizza Hut, KFC) in partnership with bottlers to drive growth in these critical channels.
