Acronis is a global leader in cyber protection, providing natively integrated solutions for managed service providers (MSPs), small and medium businesses (SMBs), enterprise IT departments, and home users. We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Development Manager to join our mission to create a secure future for data, applications, and systems across any environment.

The ideal candidate will drive the establishment, management, and growth of Acronis' presence within existing and new service provider partners. This role requires close collaboration with sales managers and leaders at each partner organization to increase revenue, customer base, and market share within their business. The successful individual will balance short-term sales activities with long-term strategic initiatives.

This position involves:

  • Establishing and managing partnerships with service providers to grow Acronis' presence and revenue
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to increase incremental Annual Recurring Revenue/sales
  • Training, onboarding, and enabling new and prospective service providers
  • Providing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and business activity reports to the Acronis sales management team
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and training new MSP partners
  • Conducting Quarterly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Planning Sessions with assigned SP partners
  • Facilitating cross-functional cooperation between Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Acronis Academy, and other teams as necessary
  • Selling Acronis Cyber Protection services to customers through existing service provider channels

The successful Strategic Partnership Development Manager will have:

  • 5+ years of total sales/account management experience, with specific experience in large account management required
  • 3+ years of experience and demonstrated sales success in recruiting and managing service provider partners, focusing on backup, disaster recovery, security, or related cloud technologies
  • Solid strategic business development, planning, and acumen, along with strong tactical implementation sales skills
  • Technical aptitude to deliver sales and product training, with a strong understanding of product positioning and client technical needs
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Management of daily activities through CRM applications including Sales Force
  • Regional travel is required, up to 50% of the time
  • Strong written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills
