Opportunity

As a Flight Support Officer at Maersk Air Cargo, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our flight operations. You'll work closely with the Flight Operations Manager, contributing to projects that drive improvements in processes and technologies within the department.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the navigation database, conduct route study analysis, and prepare aerodrome assessments and briefing materials.
  • Assist with the testing and maintenance of performance tools, seeking opportunities for optimization and improvement within the department.
  • Ensure Flight Support procedures are in place, financial and operational objectives are met, and regular reports and departmental meetings are conducted.
Requirements
  • Operational background as a Flight Support Officer, pilot, or similar role.
  • Experience in Flight Operations Dispatch is advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Knowledge of aircraft performance and flight planning, air traffic management, aviation regulations, and meteorology.
Key Competencies
  • Results-focused, commercially aware, and able to make effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work quickly and accurately without supervision, and a resilient approach to challenges.
