Cloud Transformation Manager

AWS Managed Services is a comprehensive cloud adoption platform that accelerates cloud transformation, simplifying deployment, migration, and management using automation and machine learning. Our dedicated team of Amazon employees provides ongoing management of the AWS infrastructure, automating common activities such as change requests, monitoring, patch management, security, and backup services. We offer full life-cycle services to provision, run, and support infrastructure, ensuring seamless customer onboarding and adoption.
This role requires a senior technical delivery manager with experience in assisting enterprise customers in leveraging AWS services and features to run mission-critical applications. The successful candidate will work closely with other AWS teams to ensure smooth changes to customer environments while meeting customer requirements for onboarding to AWS Managed Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Earn a trusted client advisory relationship with our clients and team.
- Provide visibility and guidance to customers on their AWS Services account through regular Operational Service Reviews and Reporting.
- Develop and standardize test, upgrade, and release management processes with application owners.
- Engage with Director and C-Level executives to understand business needs.
- Collaborate with customer technical stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Champion customer requirements within AWS, driving feature requests and prioritization.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide technical oversight during critical events.
- Develop governance models to ensure consistent use of cloud technologies aligned with institutional strategies and policies.
- Understand customer business drivers, architectures, cloud adoption roadmaps, operating models, and KPIs to measure benefits realization.
- Analyze application portfolios, identifying dependencies and migration feasibility.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
- 10+ years of Transition Management, IT Consulting, or IT Delivery experience in a customer-facing role with high accountability.
- Hands-on experience leading large-scale Cloud-based IT transformation projects.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to manage competing demands from internal and external stakeholders and customers.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills for engaging with customers and colleagues.
