Business Development and Growth Specialist

About the Role
Ramboll Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Bioenergy and Power-Generation team. As a key player in driving business development initiatives, you will be responsible for translating customer enquiries into high-quality technical and commercial proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- You will collaborate closely with new prospects and existing clients, working alongside Ramboll project management and tender teams to apply your commercial and technical expertise to support account new business initiatives.
- Leading and managing biofuels consulting opportunities from identification to booking, developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for proposals to win new projects.
- Coordinating and overseeing multi-disciplinary tender teams, ensuring timely and quality delivery, preparing and presenting detailed reports and recommendations to clients.
- Providing expert advice on biofuels technologies, including production processes, feedstock selection, and sustainability practices, analysing market trends, policy developments, and regulatory changes affecting the bioenergy industry.
- Conducting feasibility studies, economic analyses, and risk assessments for biofuels projects, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
About You
- We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field, and significant experience in the biofuels industry, with a proven track record in technology, consulting, or project management roles.
- A strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with experience in economic modelling and data analysis, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ambitions of leadership and team management, with capabilities in mentoring and developing junior staff, a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory frameworks in the biofuels sector.
Estimated Salary Range
$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
