Business Development Representative

Opoint AS, a leading technology firm based in the Nordics and UK, is seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join our BDR team.
We specialize in capturing and delivering content from 235,000 news data sources across 150+ languages and 220 jurisdictions, serving a global customer base spanning finance, media, social media, consulting, risk management, AI/ML insights, NLP, and KYC/ID screening.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth journey, strengthening our position as the leading provider of global web data. As a Business Development Representative, you will communicate with prospects across multiple outreach channels, showcasing Opoint's offerings.
You will be an integral part of our sales division, focusing on opening doors, building relationships with international companies, and connecting them with our sales managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing outreach strategies to target multinational companies across various industries and markets.
- Conducting multi-phased outreach and lead generation to grow Opoint's prospect portfolio.
- Acting in international contexts, developing commercial skills, including late-stage sales, with experienced colleagues.
- Consistently reaching weekly/monthly outreach targets.
- Frequent collaboration with other business units, including Sales, Marketing, IT, and Solutions/Support, to present sharp recommendations and value-generating solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Business, Economics); other degree types and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant B-2-B sales experience required; internship experience taken into consideration.
- Previous cold-calling experience.
- Results-driven & competitive nature.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal/external clients.
- Fluency in written and oral English is a requirement.
- Outstanding time management skills and an ability to think and work independently.
- Ability to learn and understand new products and technology.
- Commitment to becoming a closing SaaS Account Executive.
- Must hold a valid working visa for Denmark.
