What's the role about...

As an E-Commerce Manager at Rokoko, you will report to the Head of Marketing and be at the forefront of our digital sales strategy, driving growth and optimizing the very core of our distribution flow - our website at rokoko.com . You'll oversee all aspects of our e-commerce operations, from managing the online store and product listings to analyzing sales and lead generation data and playing a key role in commercial campaigns along with the rest of the marketing team.

The E-Commerce Manager needs to identify barriers to conversions/sales and implement changes to improve user experience on the website. This includes:

  • Updating and facilitating creation of new web marketing content through experiments and tests to maximize conversions;
  • Optimizing SEO to boost quality traffic, and coordinate and optimize paid ads and performance marketing with an external agency;
  • Helping analyze a large set of data points to uncover insights for commercial growth;
  • Supervising the maintenance of the web tech stack to guarantee a frictionless purchase experience for our customers;
  • Helping implement company-wide initiatives on the marketing and e-com websites in collaboration with your colleagues in marketing, sales, and product;
  • You'll be responsible for increasing conversion rates, average order value, and overall revenue while maintaining brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

This dynamic position requires a blend of analytical skills, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of web and e-commerce best practices to propel Rokoko's online sales to new heights.

  • The marketing website is built in Webflow;
  • The store is built in Shopify;
  • We use GA4, GTM, and Clarity for tracking and reporting;
  • We use Optibase for A/B and split tests (in Webflow);
  • We use Google & Bing search consoles and Ahrefs for SEO monitoring;
  • We use Zapier, Hubspot, and Inputflow for web forms;
  • We use Ortto for promotional popup banners (and email marketing);
  • We use Figma, Capcut, and HandBrake for self-help media asset editing.

Hands-on experience managing and optimizing a website and online experience for an international brand. We already have strong organic (and paid) traffic, we rank highest on SEO of any brand in our space, and we have LOTS of fantastic content to utilize on our website. The key is to make sure all of that potential is unlocked in revenue growth and commercial goals.

Important areas of expertise and experience include:

  • Experience in managing e-commerce platforms: Proven track record in overseeing and optimizing e-commerce and/or SaaS operations for a global brand, preferably in the tech or creative industries.
  • Strong analytical skills: Proficiency in web tracking, data analysis, and interpretation, with experience using analytics tools and a proven track record in using data-driven decision-making processes that have led to improved commercial performances.
  • Digital marketing expertise: Experience in implementing SEO strategies, understanding of paid advertising campaigns, and utilizing content marketing to drive new quality traffic.
  • Low-code web platform experience: Proven abilities in using low-code tools (Webflow and Shopify preferred) with enough technical knowledge to confidently deploy web content.
  • International market knowledge: Experience in managing e-commerce operations across multiple countries, understanding regional differences in consumer behaviour and regulations.
  • Understanding of 3D technology or motion capture: Familiarity with the motion capture industry or related fields like VFX, gaming, or 3D animation would be a plus but not a requirement.
  • Team player: You are a team player who motivates and supports colleagues, has great communication skills, and has experience working with many stakeholders.
