Head of Sales, Bags, Footwear & Accessories

Samsøe Samsøe is a renowned Scandinavian fashion brand, known for its contemporary design, high-quality materials, and commitment to sustainability. As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for an experienced and driven Head of Sales, Bags, Footwear & Accessories to lead our efforts in the bags, footwear and soft accessories category expansion. In this position, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing a global distribution strategy, with a primary focus on expanding our presence in high-end department stores and online platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, results-oriented candidate to play a central role in growing a key category within a globally recognised brand.

The role is a full-time position based at our Headquarters in Copenhagen and requires frequent travelling. You will be reporting to our Head of Sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Global Sales Strategy & Execution: Create a comprehensive global sales strategy for Bags, Shoes, and Accessories, focusing on premium placements.
  • Rollout of Hero Products: Lead the global rollout and sales expansion of Samsøe Samsøe Hero products.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales growth and ensure client success.
  • Distribution Expansion: Build and manage a robust international distribution platform to expand our accessories portfolio in key global markets.
  • Sales & Market Insights: Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and sales performance regularly to optimise product development.
  • Brand Positioning & Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing and brand teams to align with global brand positioning.
  • Sales Training & Support: Ensure that local sales teams and clients understand our product line, brand values, and sales approach.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior leadership for transparency across successes, challenges, and growth opportunities.
YOUR PROFILE
  • A minimum of 3 years in a senior sales role within the fashion industry, with a specific focus on Bags, Shoes, and Accessories.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and expanding international (premium) sales channels.
  • Already established relationships with key retailers such as Galeries Lafayette, LBM, Printemps, Nordstrom, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, SAKS, and similar high-end institutions.
  • Strong ability to balance entrepreneurial vision with a commercial sales approach, contributing to both the development and success of distribution rollout.
  • Ability to analyse market data, consumer behaviour, and sales performance to drive strategic decisions and improve sales outcomes.
  • Proven track record in negotiating favourable terms with major retail partners and managing key accounts at an executive level.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present and negotiate at all levels.
  • Collaborative team player mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and production to ensure alignment across all areas.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including international travel to key markets and events.
