About the Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be the driving force behind our sales pipeline, helping us connect with businesses that can benefit from our platform. You’ll collaborate closely with the sales team, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive, and fun environment where your ideas and energy will be valued.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate Opportunities: Research and connect with potential clients through email, social media, and outbound calls to spark meaningful conversations.
  • Qualify Leads: Identify client needs, assess their challenges, and determine if BeCause.Eco is the right solution.
  • Collaborate Closely: Partner with our Account Executives to build a strong pipeline and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.
  • Research Deeply: Gain insight into prospects' businesses, industries, and pain points to craft tailored outreach strategies.
  • Drive Growth: Play a critical role in building the foundation of our sales engine as we scale.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

  • Have 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Are ambitious , curious, and eager to grow your career in tech sales within a fast-moving startup.
  • Are passionate about sustainability and excited to work on something that makes a positive impact.
  • Have a can-do attitude and enjoy solving problems creatively and proactively.
  • Feel comfortable initiating conversations and building meaningful relationships with potential clients.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and excel at keeping detailed notes in CRM systems (experience with tools like Salesforce or HubSpot is a bonus).
  • Have excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
