HAMLET PROTEIN is an organization with a strong sense of purpose and a well-established product brand. As one of HAMLET PROTEIN’s Sales Managers, you will play a pivotal role in developing our future business.
Reporting directly to our Commercial Director your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop sales of our product portfolio in defined markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa
- Actively identify new leads and convert new opportunities in order to achieve budget objectives for the assigned territories and product portfolio
- Build, develop and maintain strong commercial value-adding relationships with customers and distributors
- Forecast future sales and demand and provide market feedback
- Co-operate and co-ordinate with marketing, technical, operational and other colleagues to deliver the Company’s strategic ambitions
You will be working in a company surrounded by professional colleagues with an innovative outlook toward ongoing business. You are used to a deadline-driven environment, and with your high energy levels, self-confidence, and superior communication skills, you will inspire colleagues at all levels of the organization to get things done.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferably agriculture, veterinary science, animal nutrition/production or life science equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience of successful value-based sales and commercial management in the animal nutrition industry
- Strong technical understanding of animal nutrition and production
- Strong commercial attitude and results focused mindset
- Natural networking skills
- Genuine team player and believer in the importance of sharing knowledge
- Fluent in English (additional language skills welcome)
- Willing to travel approximately 30 % of the time
- Effective communication skills across various organizational levels
- Responsive, pro-active and decisive behavior
- Forward thinking with analytical problem solver approach
- Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
