We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Microbiological Project Coordinator and Administrative Support to join our dynamic team at the University of Copenhagen. This full-time position involves supporting the Head of Section of Microbiology and Principal Investigator (PI) in managing large research projects, coordinating meetings, reports, budgets, and timelines.

About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in microbiology while developing your project management and administrative skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Management: Overseeing the EMBARQ project, ensuring smooth communication with partners, and coordinating meetings, reports, budgets, and timelines.
  • Personal Assistance: Managing the Head of Section's schedule, meetings, travel, and daily administrative tasks associated with research and teaching activities.
  • Event & Communication Support: Organizing meetings, workshops, and events, and assisting in preparing reports, presentations, and research dissemination.
  • Collaboration: Serving as the central point of contact for the Head of Section, department staff, students, and external partners.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with managing large research projects, preferably in bioscience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Danish and English.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and resource management.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Benefits and Salary

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range based on experience, starting from approximately 430,000 DKK per annum. Additionally, the employer contributes 17.1% to your pension fund. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and opportunities for professional development.
