We are seeking a highly skilled Nordic Biostimulant Expert to join our team at Corteva Agriscience. This role will be based in Denmark/South Sweden and will involve working closely with our Nordic and Baltic Biostimulant product teams.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales teams in Scandinavia, ensuring customer intimacy and trust relationships while bringing technical credibility to the market. You will work closely with our product teams to synthesize technical information and data into marketing and commercial programs, helping to drive demand creation and training at the customer and farmer level.

You will be accountable for reaching budget targets, providing input on monthly demand reviews, and actively participating in the budgeting process for biologicals. Your expertise will help ramp up commercial approaches and support key customer meetings, referencing new products and supporting sell-in and sell-out activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the sales teams in Scandinavia, ensuring customer intimacy and trust relationships while bringing technical credibility to the market.
  • Work closely with our product teams to synthesize technical information and data into marketing and commercial programs.
  • Drive demand creation and training at the customer and farmer level.
  • Be accountable for reaching budget targets.
  • Provide input on monthly demand reviews.
  • Actively participate in the budgeting process for biologicals.
  • Support key customer meetings, referencing new products and supporting sell-in and sell-out activities.
Requirements:
  • Degree: Academic in Agronomy or significant experience in the Ag business.
  • Sales or Agronomy experience; solid experience with biostimulants or plant physiology products.
  • Solid background on crop management (main 2 crops of the region) with plant nutrition and soil science experience.
  • Good knowledge of the commercial environment within Denmark and rest of Scandinavia.
  • At least 3 years' experience in similar roles.
  • Fluent written and spoken Danish and English. Other Scandinavian languages will be a plus.
  • Effective public speaking skills. Engage the audience in commercial/technical presentations.
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
  • Results and business-oriented. Ability to work closely with customers and respond to their needs.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability.
  • Good team worker: Being comfortable working in a team and 'managing by influence.'
  • Good listener and interpreter of views from a wide range of inputs.
  • Great analysis ability.
  • Effective use of computers and MS Office.
