Strategic Relationship Director for Connected Devices

Job Overview
To support the department director in developing a comprehensive strategy and team building plan, ensuring exceptional client service delivery and alignment with departmental objectives. Key responsibilities include managing crucial client relationships, leading teams, and overseeing direct reports.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure consistent high-quality performance against department deliverables.
- Lead customer relationship management and team efforts to achieve customer deliverables successfully.
- Maintain and implement standard operating procedures for the department, adhering to ICH GCP guidelines.
- Oversee quality control procedures, including maintenance, review, and implementation.
- Drive departmental and company projects and initiatives.
- Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for existing accounts and direct reports.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team on RFP/RFI reviews for assigned accounts, working closely with internal teams and clients.
- Manage staff according to organization policies and guidelines, focusing on performance appraisal, professional development, and employee relations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including establishing and managing high-quality departments/core teams.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Familiarity with FDA guidelines and their impact on operations.
- Strong team leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge, preferably Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
