About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our café operations in Copenhagen. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams and inspiring staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role involves overseeing all aspects of café operations, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of food and drink quality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  1. Team Management: Lead by example and provide exceptional guest service, setting the bar high for your team.
  2. Café Operations: Oversee all café operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
  3. Staff Development: Recruit, train, and motivate the staff, promote their career development, and provide ongoing support.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Ensure employees' overall performance and individual development, including sales knowledge and customer relationships.
  5. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food and drink quality, ensuring consistency.
  6. Scheduling: Coordinate work schedules, ensuring proper coverage across shifts and stepping in when needed.
  7. Communication: Act as a liaison between the café and other departments, communicating important information to the team.
  8. Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), making data-driven decisions to optimize store performance.
  9. Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  10. Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships, including inventory control and ordering necessary supplies.
  11. Financial Management: Uphold financial procedures and ensure responsible money management.
  12. Café Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly café environment, including regular equipment maintenance.
  13. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with HACCP and food control regulations, prioritizing hygiene and safety protocols.
  14. Communication and Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with café employees to foster communication and team engagement.
  15. Cluster Meetings and District Manager: Participate in cluster meetings and engage in weekly 1-on-1 meetings with the District Manager.

Administrative Duties

The Store Manager is also responsible for handling administrative tasks effectively, such as inventory, scheduling, analyzing sales reports, and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets. Note that administrative work should not exceed more than 20% of the total working hours to maintain a balance between floor responsibilities and managerial duties.

Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 per annum
