Biotech Sales Director

The Senior Business Development Director is a critical role that drives business growth through strategic sales initiatives. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across all SBUs.
You will work closely with the Solutions Consultants and Commercial Operations to ensure smooth transition to delivery and execute on your territory/account sales strategy to gain market share and build high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
This role requires a strong consultative approach, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate at senior management level.
Main Responsibilities- New Business Acquisition
- Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified customer account(s).
- Analyze and prioritize potential opportunities and develop strategic sales plans for each target account.
- Ensure appropriate strategy/solution is proposed to customer.
- Client Prospecting
- Actively maintain territory account plan with break-in strategies.
- Understand clients' development and commercial strategy, product development portfolio, and pain points.
- Parexel Services
- Maintain solid knowledge of all Parexel services and value propositions for cross-selling opportunities.
- Proven Track Record
- Proven sales track record of achieving/surpassing sales goals.
- Commercial Expertise
- Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and development.
- Communication Skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to communicate at senior management level.
