Saxo Bank's Network and Market Relationship Management team is responsible for managing external providers that deliver critical market, settlement, and banking access. The team currently consists of 4 employees, across Europe, whose mandate is to ensure resilience and efficiency across the Bank's network of prime brokers, exchanges, CCPs, CSD/ICSD, and sub-custodians.

We are seeking a driven, independent, and ambitious colleague to join the team. As a member of the team, you will be immersed in a dynamic environment where you will engage with counterparts and stakeholders internally and externally, and work alongside highly passionate Saxo professionals.

The role is based in Copenhagen, but you will be working virtually with colleagues on a global basis.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with product and project teams to develop and enhance external set-ups and structures.
  2. Execute Saxo's relationship and resiliency strategy through the issuance of RFPs and the assessment of new providers.
  3. Provide value to both external and internal clients through market experience and delivery of market information.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with external counterparts, including contract and pricing negotiations, due diligence, review meetings, and ensuring delivery on service levels.
Your Profile
  1. Bachelor or Master's degree in finance, economics, or business with outstanding achievements.
  2. English proficiency written and verbal is a must.
  3. Good market knowledge, including an understanding of local market operations and regulations as they relate to the services being provided.
  4. 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  5. Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  6. Ability to work well, both individually and as part of a team.
  7. Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  8. Interest in financial markets, processes, and optimization.
  9. Excel capabilities are a must, with knowledge of Power BI and PowerPoint being an advantage.
  10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  11. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  12. High personal drive and ambition that helps you keep pace and motivate others to achieve desired targets.
  13. Willingness to conduct overseas travel on request.
