We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our SAP Services department as a Head of Department. This role will oversee the execution of large IT projects, improve team coherence, and drive process optimization.

About the JobThis pivotal role will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Successful Project Execution: Define project goals and strategies, oversee all phases of execution, and guarantee timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
- Team Leadership and Motivation: Build a strong, cohesive team by inspiring and motivating individuals, fostering collaboration, and creating an inclusive environment where everyone thrives.
- Sourcing the Right Competencies and Capabilities: Identify and acquire necessary skills and resources, ensure continuous training and development, and align competencies with strategic needs.
- Collaborating with Clients: Establish strong relationships with clients, actively engage to understand their objectives, and ensure project outcomes align with their long-term strategies and needs.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Analyze and refine project management and business processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability across projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to senior profiles, provide strategic input on key decisions, and facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders to align expectations and priorities.
We seek an expert in IT-project execution with practical experience and a proven track record of successful managerial roles from IT consultancy, operations, or AMS-deliveries. Key qualities include:
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of proven experience in a managerial role.
- Leadership, cross-team collaboration, defining and controlling processes, driving quality agendas, and delivering projects.
- Able to handle escalations and resolve conflicts.
- Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Mentoring and coaching individual team members on their career growth path.
- Taking ownership of project deliveries, backlog, and prioritization.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills.
- An extensive understanding of application management services.
