At Amazon, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nordic Employee Relations Leader to join our EMEA ER team. This role offers the opportunity to work in any of our offices in Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen, or Stockholm.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering positive employee relations across the region, collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing data, and developing strategies to enhance employee engagement and mitigate risks.

This leadership position contributes to the growth and expansion of our operations in the Nordics by leveraging your employee representative bodies and labor relations experience.

About this role:

  1. Analyze and design people programs, policies, and practices to promote positive employee relations.
  2. Advise on employee-related decisions and strategies during new country expansions.
  3. Develop and deliver training to build employee labor relations knowledge for managers and HR colleagues.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders, including legal counsel, on establishment and third-party interactions.
  5. Assess employee engagement levels and support initiatives to achieve engagement targets.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations roles.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in the Nordic countries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in at least one Nordic language.

Compensation and benefits: The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Additionally, Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
