Products are sold via a carefully selected network of global distributors and retailers, as original equipment, supplied to more than 50 of the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers and through charge point operators, property owners as well as other organizations and individuals providing EV charging infrastructure.

We are now hiring a Area Sales Manager to our Consumer Division based in Denmark.

The Consumer Division focusing on the Low Voltage segment within CTEK has two main target segments. B2C Consumers e.g. vehicle owners and B2B customer such as service & repair, garages and workshops as well as car show-rooms. These target groups are served via multi-channel distribution network depending on market consisting of wholesalers, dealers, retailers, etc. both in the physical and on-line channel.

The role key goal:

Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager Nordics Consumer Division, the Area Sales Manager Denmark will play a critical role in developing and executing the defined commercial strategy by securing and developing existing local and pan-Nordic key accounts as well as further building up new customers and distribution network and its value.

Key Account Management

  • Building strong, long-term relationships with regional key accounts by being the main point of contact. Developing a deep understanding of their business, goals, and challenges to effectively anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Depending on the market and chosen channel – it might be distributors, wholesalers, dealers and/or retailers.

Sales Growth

  • Driving revenue growth by identifying new sales opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
  • Executing the sales plan in line with the regional strategy, including the choice of channels and the pricing strategy.

Account Planning

  • Developing comprehensive account plans that outline strategies for account growth, relationship building, and sales targets. Continuous evaluation and plans adjustment to ensure alignment with the evolving needs of the key accounts.

Negotiations and Contract Management

  • Leading contract negotiations and renewal discussions with key accounts. Collaborating with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are structured appropriately and meet both the client's and the company's objectives.

Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Staying updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' activities to identify new business opportunities and create value propositions that differentiate our products and services.

Key requirements:

  • 5-10 years of relevant key account management experience, gained within automotive aftermarket market and or consumer retail industry, including: sales management, direct customer responsibility, contract negotiations, international markets strategy development.
  • Experience in market analysis and evaluations to identify business opportunities.
  • Experience with and solid understanding of the logistic flow, customer service process-es and related risks and opportunities.
  • Familiar and comfortable with working independently in a matrix structure.
  • Fluency in both English and Danish, knowledge of other CEE language is an advantage.
