Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology, and we're seeking a Pricing Strategy Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on competitive compliant offers, develop pricing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results. As a Pricing Strategy Specialist, you'll have a high level of responsibility, working on diverse projects with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement pricing strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.
  2. Analyze product portfolios from a pricing perspective, supporting Operating Units in tender/contract assessments and ensuring optimal pricing leverage.
  3. Lead tender, product, and pricing strategy development from pre-tender to end-results, collaborating closely with Operation Units.
  4. Perform Financial Award Impact Analysis and evaluation on Medtronic's Competitors.
  5. Analyze Product mix, volume, and revenue based on tender to optimize revenue share.
  6. Work with business finance analysts to incorporate new pricing decisions into revenue and margin forecasts.
  7. Review yearly Target and Approval Level (TAPS) to implement the strategy in Vendavo.
  8. Manage contracts and conduct compliance reporting.
Requirements
  1. 3-5 years of experience in Commercial, Pricing, or Finance roles.
  2. Experience in tender processes and strong commercial and business acumen, with skills in Marketing, market research, Finance, Commercial Operations, and Value.
  3. Excellent communication skills in English and one of the Nordic languages (except Finnish).
  4. Proven project management skills, including planning, prioritizing, and setting goals.
  5. Able to take information from multiple sources and synthesize conclusions.
  6. Highly developed interpersonal, networking, and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

We value resilience, adaptability, and the ability to make decisions with partial information. A positive team player with previous experience in the medical device industry is highly valued. Additional degrees or certifications in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or Finance are a plus.
