Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Business Development Manager to join our team at IFF. The successful candidate will have a solid technical background combined with strong business acumen, ensuring thorough understanding of how key market trends and customer needs translate into food ingredient concepts with solid value propositions.

The ideal candidate will be able to drive the agenda of the Systems BU in the region, working collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This includes developing new regional business opportunities to accelerate growth and securing a strong pipeline (medium & long-term) by:

  • Working with the Senior Manager, Global Business Development and fellow Regional Business Development Managers to drive cross-regional fertilization of local concepts and solutions between regions and across applications.
  • Translating the global strategy into regional strategic initiatives and actions.
  • Identifying and translating needs in core & adjacent segments into new competitive value propositions, concepts and ingredient building blocks to guide R&D and Application development efforts.

The Commercial Lead for Systems on longer-term innovation projects will also be responsible for supporting the development and periodic reviews of the Systems strategy.

This role requires an Engineering, technical or science degree combined with a degree in business management, with a minimum of 5 years' experience within application, innovation, business development or product management. Experience in food & beverage is essential, as well as excellent communication and influencing skills.
