About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Partner Success Team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

This individual will identify new opportunities with large partners, provide resources for growth objectives, and help Klarna become everyone's favorite way to shop. To succeed, you must be highly driven, passionate about learning cultures, and able to build a business from scratch.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute joint business plans with partners to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enable and generate leads.
  • Pitch Klarna's services and close deals.
  • Manage key relationships with stakeholders, including C-suite members.
  • Deliver Quarterly Business Reviews to partner C-suite teams.
  • Contribute to taking Klarna to the next level.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Retail, payments, or e-commerce experience.
  • 6+ years of Business Development, Account Management, or Sales experience.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
  • A proven track record of managing and growing business relationships.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in a global company or with international partners is desirable.
