Market Relationship Manager

Position Overview
The Network and Market Relationship Management division at Saxo Bank is responsible for overseeing external service providers that deliver essential market, settlement, and banking solutions. This team, consisting of four professionals across Europe, is dedicated to ensuring both resilience and efficiency within the Bank's network of Prime Brokers, Exchanges, Central Counterparties (CCPs), Central Securities Depositories (CSDs), and Sub-custodians. This position provides significant exposure to a variety of asset classes, including equities, futures, options, and bonds in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with product and project teams to optimize external frameworks and arrangements.
- Execute Saxo's relationship and resilience strategy by issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluating new service providers.
- Provide valuable insights and expertise to both external and internal clients.
- Engage with external partners, manage contract negotiations, conduct due diligence, facilitate review meetings, ensure service delivery, and address relationship challenges.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or business with outstanding achievements.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of market dynamics and local operational regulations.
- Have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
- Exhibit the ability to build and maintain robust internal and external relationships.
- Possess strong interpersonal and influencing capabilities.
- Show a keen interest in financial markets, processes, and optimization.
- Be proficient in Excel; familiarity with Power BI and PowerPoint is advantageous.
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrate effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Exhibit a high level of personal drive and ambition to meet targets.
- Be open to international travel as required.
