Head of Global Sales and Business Development

Rosendahl Design Group (RDG) is a Danish multi-brand house founded in 1984 by Erik Rosendahl. With a strong vision to create design products that combine aesthetics and functionality, the company has grown significantly over the years.
Today, RDG brings together eight iconic Danish brands, including Rosendahl, Holmegaard, Kaj Bojesen, Arne Jacobsen Clocks, and Lyngby Porcelæn. The company's mission is to preserve and develop the Danish design traditions and make them accessible to the many.
The new Head of Global Sales and Business Development will play a crucial role in driving change and creating growth for RDG. With a focus on profitable sales and market share expansion outside of Scandinavia, this leader must be able to motivate and lead a team of approximately 30 employees across various locations, including Norway, Sweden, and Germany.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership and people management, with experience in managing managers and driving changes. A relevant commercial education, such as a Master's degree in business administration, is preferred. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of GTM strategies, omnichannel requirements, and wholesale and retail experiences.
This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced professionals looking to join a dynamic and growing organization like RDG.
The Head of Global Sales and Business Development will report directly to the CEO and be part of the management team. Key responsibilities include establishing and executing Channel & Market Strategy for RDG's eight brands, leading the team, and ensuring continuous development and adaptation of competencies.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for setting up the right business model within Sales to support the market in the future, building relationships with major customers, and participating in customer events and trade fairs.
