Job Title: Account Manager

Compacon, a leading European player in the world of promotional products, premiums, and gifts, is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Account Manager to join their Sales team in Copenhagen.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and commercially driven Account Manager to develop and execute strategic account plans, build and expand customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, identifying their needs and preferences.
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner for customers, providing innovative solutions and promoting Compacon's products and services.
  • Proactively follow up on quotations, new solutions, and services, and initiate strategic marketing plans to drive business growth.
  • Purchasing and sourcing of promotional products and services.
  • Initiate and develop creative commercial opportunities within the region.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team, Marketing, Purchasing & Sourcing, Compliance, and Fulfilment Center to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Account Manager role, preferably in the promotional products industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Fluency in Danish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
