About the role

We are seeking a Account Manager to drive competitive advantage in the Nordics, enhancing the unique value proposition of the Lactase portfolio and Kerry as a whole. The successful candidate will bring credibility, competence, and presence, making Kerry the partner of choice.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive sales development and maintenance from scoping to closing.
  • Management and training of distributors.
  • Key and Strategic account management.
  • Execution on regional market plans and account plans.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a solid sales project pipeline with deep knowledge of each project, health of the project, forecast, probability of success, risks, and competition.
  • Creation of yearly account strategies for strategic and key accounts.
  • Develop customer relationships and partnering.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of customer's organization, priorities, portfolio, and needs.
  • Contribute with your experience, best practices, and knowledge to the global sales team.
Qualifications and skills
  • Commercial sales and account management experience in B2B ingredient industry preferably from food or dairy industry in the Nordics.
  • Ideally has a working knowledge of local languages in the Nordics.
  • The candidate would typically hold a bachelor's degree in science with proven Sales & Marketing skills, including Enzymology, Dairy processes, Negotiations, Dairy industry, account management, and market knowledge.
  • Proven track record of achieving sustained business growth through strategic and key account management.
  • Self-driven with excellent interpersonal skills, with proven capabilities to monitor versatility in customer dialogues and relationship development & maintenance, both with large customers, small to medium size customers, and with distributors.
  • Passionate and engaging personality able to work independently whilst contributing as a valuable member of the global sales team.
