Weibel Scientific A/S is a leading company in the high-tech industry, specializing in advanced surveillance radar solutions for defense applications. Our team is now expanding, and we are looking for a skilled Bid Manager to join our growing XENTA Bid team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Proposal Development: Assist in managing proposals from commencement to contract award, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with stakeholders.
  • RFI/RFQ Response: Support Sales in responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs), maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Documentation Structure: Develop, manage, and maintain the Surveillance Documentation Structure in accordance with Sales Governance Processes.
  • Data Management: Maintain sales and product data by coordinating information across the organization, ensuring all product documentation is up-to-date.
  • Documentation Control: Responsible for documentation management and control during and up to contract award.
  • Bid Package Finalization: Support Sales and Bid Team in finalizing Bid packages for submission.
  • Analytics: Assist in creating annual Surveillance Sales Analytics.
  • Delivery Accountability: Embed a strong sense of delivery accountability and proactive risk management within the Bid team.
  • Bid Approval Board Support: Assist the Bid Team in preparing internal material and presentations for Bid Approval Boards.
  • Win Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of bid/proposal win strategy and value proposition, ensuring alignment with client requirements.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior experience in sales support functions for technically advanced solutions to the defense industry, preferably with radars and surveillance systems.
  • Education: Relevant educational background in engineering and/or business.
  • Bid Management: Proven track record in Bid Management, demonstrating ability to work effectively in complex environments.
  • Complex Sales: Experience or strong interest in complex sales processes, preferably in high-tech industries.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Language: English at negotiation level (spoken and written).
