About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will focus on driving business development activities into the Mid-Market & Small Business segment for Apple. The successful candidate will define and build program deliverables to support this initiative, leveraging industry best practices and working closely with Enterprise sales teams and EMEIA Pro BDM teams to ensure execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development activities into the Mid-Market & Small Business segment for Apple
- Define and build program deliverables to support this initiative, leveraging industry best practices and working hand-in-hand with both Enterprise sales teams and EMEIA Pro BDM teams to ensure execution
- Plan, deliver, and resource speakers to deliver frequent customer briefings around the adoption of iOS and Mac in the B2B segment, ensuring clear follow-up and actions from each briefing
- Work with channel partners to build and maintain a 'key win' sales pipeline
- Assist channel partners in forming B2B customer events and briefings, enabling them to become self-sufficient in executing these over time
- Support partners in tailoring the Apple proposition to address specific vertical markets they may have a focus on
- Collaborate with Channel Sales teams to define and track the implementation of Business Apple solution propositions in key Apple Authorized Resellers (AARs), extending to supporting sales, marketing, and technical readiness of those partners
- Develop and disseminate corporate-driven programs for selling into the business market, particularly in Mid-Market and SMB, and provide input on content where necessary
- Identify new vertical opportunities worth focusing on and qualify whether the Apple team should invest additional resources to drive focus into these areas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated direct channel account management experience
- Experience in building SMB and B2B channel propositions with corporate channel resellers
- A track record of selling solutions via a reseller organization
- Experience selling mobility solutions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a matrix organization
- Knowledge of selling into the business markets directly and through partners
- Strong organizational, presentation, communication, planning, and project management skills
- Self-motivation and ability to work remotely
About the Salary
The estimated salary range for this role is approximately $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. At Apple, we offer competitive compensation and benefits packages to our employees, reflecting our commitment to their growth and well-being.
