Nordic Sales Director

Greendealflow is seeking a highly skilled sales professional to lead our growth strategy in the Nordic region, encompassing Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our management team and marketing function to develop and execute a sales strategy that identifies new business opportunities and fosters strategic partnerships with developers of solar, wind, and battery storage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Represent Greendealflow as the primary point of contact for potential prospects and business partners across the Nordic region.
  2. Identify and build relationships with developers of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects.
  3. Develop and implement a sales plan, taking ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  4. Analyze client needs, negotiate offers, and secure confirmed orders.
  5. Develop and maintain strategies to retain and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  6. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  7. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform strategic planning.
  8. Tailor solutions to meet specific client needs, enhancing the value proposition.
Requirements
  • Educational background in business and/or related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Danish (or any of the Scandinavian languages) and English.
  • Experience with B2B sales in the solar/wind industry.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical understanding/insights with solar/wind industry.
Travel Expectations

Around 10-20 days of travel per year, dependent on activity level.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
