About Portwest UC
Portwest UC, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE, is seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to join our team. Based in the Greater Copenhagen, Denmark region, this role will involve selling Portwest products to distributors reporting into the Regional Sales Manager.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will bring their P.P.E and/or workwear experience to drive sales growth and expand our customer base. With a strong focus on building quality business relationships and identifying new business opportunities, this role is ideal for individuals with a proven track record in sales and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
About the Role:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue
- B build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct daily face-to-face sales meetings to maintain and develop relationships with distributors, resellers, and agents
- Identify high-growth potential customers and create tailored solutions to meet their needs
- Promote Portwest products through samples and demonstrations, driving sales growth and expanding market share
- Engage in consultative selling, providing expert advice and solutions to customers
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience selling P.P.E, workwear or safety wear sales
- Experience selling on behalf of a manufacturer, distributor, reseller or agent
- Sales experience in a related industry; Automotive, Tools, Chemicals, MRO's, etc.
- Clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout your designated region
- Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Positive attitude with a winning mentality
- Excellent team player

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
