Global Account Representative, Global Auto & Mfg IBU - Sales

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled professional to manage our customer relationships with one of the largest Automotive companies in the world. The Global Account Representative will provide global business leadership and management of one or two business units in a large global account. The ideal candidate will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects, and engage virtual resources.

Key Responsibilities

The GAR is responsible for teaming with the customer's Business & IT Organizations to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision, and generating enthusiasm. This role will require selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The GAR will work with all appropriate AWS resources to support customer interests. Development of formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS is core to the role.

A Day in the Life

The customer solutions manager will take end-to-end ownership of a diverse range of projects and initiatives, utilizing their communication skills to interface with and influence a broad range of multi-disciplinary teams. With a deep understanding of the customer's business vision, culture, and processes, this individual will be the customer's voice within AWS, ensuring that their needs are accurately communicated to AWS leadership, product, and engineering teams. They will evangelize AWS services and influence customers to adopt the right solution at the right time.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of technical sales in B2B environments, in a solution-sales / technology-related environment experience
  2. Knowledge of existing and developing technologies
  3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  4. Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
