The Role / Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of large clients in the corporate segment. The Relationship Manager is tasked with developing and maintaining client relationships. This position will manage a book of business within the Nordic and Baltic region and will have the opportunity to up-sell and cross-sell Moody’s products as well as introduce new and expanded solutions. In collaboration with internal partners such as Domain Sales, Solutions Specialists, and Customer Success Manager, the Relationship Manager leads sales cycles for holistic solutions and complementary services. You will have a lot of responsibility from day one while being supported by your manager and helpful colleagues. The Moody's sales force has an inclusive, team-oriented sales culture that values both collaboration and results. The person will be based either in Copenhagen or Stockholm, with our offices centrally located.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle sales process, including identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging existing client relationships, sales presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Illustrate a deep understanding of client decision-making approaches, priorities, and requirements.
- Manage sales cycles and involve Domain Sales specialists, Solution Specialists, and Industry Practice Leads where appropriate.
- Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management.
- Meet established revenue targets while creating new and enhanced customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
- Generate new revenue from research, product, and service solutions while defending and growing existing revenue streams.
- Represent the company at industry and company-sponsored events, as required.
- This position requires occasional travel.
