In our SHM segment, we are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer who will work closely with the Head of SHM to develop and expand the market. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone driven by technical sales and eager to contribute to a new and growing area within the Sigicom Group.
The RoleAs Technical Sales Engineer for SHM, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales activities globally and create opportunities for increased sales of SHM products.
- Expand customer base in SHM worldwide: develop and maintain customer relationships to increase awareness and interest in SHM products.
- Implement and manage SHM sales, including sales plans, budget, forecast, and targets, ensuring timely delivery and achieving sales growth.
- Analyze competitors' market research and build a SHM business case based on market offerings and customer needs, in collaboration with the SHM/CMS team.
- Collect feedback to enhance SHM products.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders at Sigicom to ensure effective teamwork.
We are looking for a highly skilled individual with:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering or technical field, or Business Management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, managing sales activities, driving customer and market development in similar industries such as offshore wind turbine, monitoring, or structural engineering.
- Strong technical skills in offshore wind turbine industry and understanding of business needs to provide customers with our product offerings.
- A desire to achieve sales targets and acquire new customers in new markets with new products.
- Previous experience working in international settings, with an understanding of diverse cultures, ways of working, and environments.
- Excellent communication skills to impact and influence potential new customers and markets.
- Ability to travel for work.
