Role Summary:

The Cloud Services Director - Strategic Product Development role is responsible for contributing to GTT's product strategy, development, and execution, ensuring alignment with organization goals and customer requirements. This role covers product areas and frameworks such as Hosting, Private Cloud, Managed Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Virtualization, Containerization, and Cloud Professional Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the cloud services product line, creating a scalable and sustainable business model.
  • Drive innovation within the portfolio and across divisions to ensure competitive market positioning, pricing, technology, and product structure.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product improvements.
  • Develop products strategies to ensure high competitiveness in the long-term client market.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and marketing communications to develop product positioning, messaging, and campaigns resonating with target buyers.
  • Engage in thought leadership and strategic communication activities representing GTT with conferences, industry analysts, and press.
  • Deliver a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring products address customer needs and pain points. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback and insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a Product Management function at a global telecoms or managed services provider.
  • Understanding of the products and technologies comprising the portfolio, including managed hosting, public cloud, private cloud, containerization, virtualization, and professional services.
  • Understanding of multi-national enterprise networking, security, and compute requirements, with experience interacting with C-suite contacts in global enterprises.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, aligning product initiatives with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, influencing and collaborating across the organization.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
