We are seeking a highly skilled Commercialization Director to lead our efforts in commercializing innovative maritime exhaust gas monitoring solutions. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this role will be based either in Copenhagen or Kolding, Denmark.

About the Role

As Commercialization Director, you will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities and market demands, creating and following up on sales quotations/orders. You will also manage the whole sales management cycle, from lead generation to closing the deal to order confirmation.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Builddeliver high-quality sales forecasts and monthly sales reports.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication with customers.
  • Negotiate and execute projects/contracts, providing excellent customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with global customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify sales opportunities and market demands, create & follow up on sales quotations/orders.
  2. Proactively build and manage sales pipelines for IXA's product portfolios, provide qualified sales forecasts and monthly sales reports.
  3. Manage the whole sales management cycle, from lead generation to closing the deal to order confirmation.
  4. Arrange and conduct customer visits, collect customer feedback, and provide customer support.
  5. Define sales plans and long-term customer development strategies.
  6. Prepare bids—create and execute winning bid strategies to create competitive bids.
  7. Negotiate and execute projects/contracts.
  8. Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with global customers.
  9. Support our engineering team in developing future products and technologies relevant to the maritime industry.
  10. Prepare and participate in marine trade shows, exhibitions, and events.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant education (minimum bachelor's degree or a comparable qualification), sound commercial knowledge, and high technical affinity, with a proven solid track record of industrial sales within B2B. At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the marine industry.
  • Knowledge, experience, and network connections with global shipyards and ship owners are an advantage.
  • Result-oriented and goal-motivated, proactive, and energetic.
  • Accountable, reliable, and customer-centric.
  • Independent, structured, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
  • A good team player, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • A good listener, easy-going, yet strong in communication and negotiation.
  • Great communication, negotiation, and networking skills, with experience in international business across different cultures.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Danish and English; other languages are an advantage.
