About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our digital sales efforts in the maritime industry.

Danelec Overview: As a leading player in the maritime industry, Danelec specializes in innovative solutions that enhance vessel performance, safety, and efficiency. With a commitment to technological advancement, we have established the Danelec Connect business that delivers cutting-edge SaaS offerings enabling our maritime clients to harness the power of data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our SaaS business by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and strategically positioning our solutions in the maritime market. This will involve developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, staying at the forefront of market trends, and collaborating closely with marketing, technical pre-sales, CX, and integration/service delivery teams.

Sales Performance Tracking: The Sales Director will implement and utilize metrics-driven approaches to monitor sales performance, pipeline development, and forecast accuracy. Regular reporting and insights will be provided to senior management.

Leadership and Mentoring: The ideal candidate will lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.

Required Qualifications and Skills: The successful candidate will have a proven track record of 10+ years in B2B sales and business development within the maritime industry, preferably within the SaaS or technology sector. A strategic mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a knack for building strong, trust-based relationships with clients and partners are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, with additional Scandinavian languages being a plus. A Master's/Bachelor's degree within Business Administration, Marketing, or related field would be preferred.

Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this role is €120,000-€180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
