Cloud Transformation Manager

AWS Professional Services is a consultant organization that supports customer success from both business and technology perspectives. Leveraging deep knowledge of AWS services and extensive consulting experience, we help enterprise customers drive their digital transformation. We collaborate closely with account sales, solution architects, and support teams to promote AWS adoption, resolve customer business and IT challenges, and support customer business realization.
The Enterprise Services Manager (ESM) at AWS Professional Services is responsible for managing the most strategic customer relationships. The ESM creates and executes long-term strategies with these customers and their professional services teams. As a trusted partner, the ESM oversees all aspects of customer business development, customer relationship building, and project delivery.
Our team engages in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and a strong focus on customer success. We collaborate across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, deliver the right solution, and drive feature innovation based on customer needs.
Key Job Responsibilities- Collaborate with account teams to develop account plans for key customers.
- Develop and implement transformation programs and engagement strategies for large enterprise customers across various industries.
- Understand customer business challenges and leverage AWS technology to resolve these challenges in collaboration with professional services and partner teams.
- Develop and implement long-term cloud strategies, digital strategies, and business transformation strategies with customers.
- Clearly articulate and execute business outcomes and financial results that support customer transformation achievements.
- Manage complex deals, establish ongoing business, partner with teams, and create estimates, proposals, and contracts.
- Develop and execute workshops with professional services teams to accelerate customer innovation, design digital experiences, and implement them.
- Monitor project execution, ensure quality and business outcomes alignment, and take action to address any issues.
- Identify and develop specific opportunities and supporting business cases.
- Develop long-term cloud strategies for customers.
- Deal shaping, including estimates and deal pricing.
- Contract negotiations and closing.
- Planning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget and deliverable responsibilities.
- Mitigation of delivery risks and issues.
- Oversee delivery of projects in account, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Act as a single point of contact for customer executives, developing deep, trustful relationships.
- Educate customers on AWS services and translate them into a clear business value proposition.
- Envision and inspire customers.
- Coach customer and partner teams to be self-sufficient.
