B. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Expected approach and routines to success

You will be a part of the ALT for Mekong and also part of the Sales leadership team for APA. You will need to be outspoken with a positive mindset in your approach to developing our business, we are building a business that needs to outstrip our competitors. We work as a company in data and facts therefore it is essential that when we produce our results, we have the appropriate. Meaning that the actions by the team needs to develop clear transparent data from which to manage and report our business. You are expected to spend time with your teams and define and communicate a clear overview of our strategy and how people are important to delivering that plan, and how they can specifically contribute. You are to contribute to the broader agenda representing the customer voice to ensure our products are building, to support their needs. You are expected to follow the Maersk Operating System (MOS), for the structure of your meeting, this is to provide an engaging experience with your team that they contribute to the best performance of the product. You are expected to generate a team of can-do spirited people who are striving to beat our targets. Our mantra is no politics we work in strong alignment and harmony, across departments and within the department.

Delivery as per Area Budget​

Lead and set direction for the sales team according to budget – both on delivering ocean volume LH and IAS and growing LNS revenues and optimizing profits​ Coach and drive the sales team to sell and grow our product portfolio, to exceed set sales targets Define and set targets for sales incentives together with Sales FBP​

Customer satisfaction​

Actively monitor local NPS with the vertical/segment and drive local improvement to improve customer satisfaction​

Manage stakeholders across the area, region and global functions​

Lead the transformation from the front according to the company strategy Ensure best practices are shared across the team. Manage cross-functional relationships and actively provide input to product teams on product value propositions. Connect with the sales function across the world to enable network sales. Ensure that we produce sales materials and collateral to ensure that our business is represented across the Maersk Network.

Build and develop a best-in-class sales team​

Ensure succession plans are in place for key roles including your own role​ Coach direct reports for success and development​ Manage team engagement​

Sales Discipline

Ensure that Sales Force is appropriately utilized to ensure our reporting is to the highest possible standards

C. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Have 15 years of sales experience in freight-forwarding companies. (ideally with Ocean as well if possible as a strong base).

Have a growth mindset. Always try to go beyond the targets.

Ability to identify Customer pain points using qualitative and quantitate data

Strong analytical and data driven.

Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to serve customers mindset.

Motivational leadership.

Solid planning skills.

Ability to communicate clearly and set focus/direction

Stakeholder management

Proven leadership skills
